It seems that breastfeeding has been around for centuries. I wonder who invented the practice. Must have been a mother who was tired of bringing her baby to the farm and having it suckle directly from the cow’s teat. Then one day she thought, wait a minute, maybe, let’s give them a squeeze. And thus breastfeeding was invented.
Breastfeeding has been around for centuries but the Labour Government is now inviting the public to comment.
The recently announced National Strategic Plan of Action for Breastfeeding has been released by the Ministry of Health for wider comment.

Oh, man, that’s funny. I thought breastfeeding was invented in the second half of the 20th century.

Maybe breastfeeding was only invented recently.
Before that, perhaps the purpose of breasts were only to attract men. Where’s Darwin when we need him.
